This is the discussion thread for Update #897
  • Updated map to Version 3.2 (Performance fixes, no content.)
  • Added Silenced USP, Trafficking and Mayor Visit bonuses for hitman targets
  • Added Level 6, 7, 8 and 9 rewards for classes (See update thread.)
  • Changed M1 Garand firerate from 0.35 to 0.3
  • Changed mayor visit xp for mayor from 50 to 100
  • Changed pain pill price for CP Medic from 200 to 225
  • Changed distillery maintenance chance to be lower
  • Disabled christmas holiday hats, the holiday season is over
  • Fixed being able to push Zombie and Survivor players
  • Fixed distillery not requiring maintenance
  • Speed and Defense over 13 for gangster greatly increases raiding tool speed

XP Level Changes

There has been another round of XP Level rewards and I'm going to write a list of them down in this thread, and since some of them can be a little confusing I will go into detail on some of them.

When you open up the /exp menu you will be greeted by the same menu, but now there is a scroll bar and support for more than 5 levels.

Hitman
Lv 7 - Spawns with more ammo (75 to Rifle/SMG/357/Pistol)
Lv 9 - Bonus kills reward more money (500 Extra)

Vigilante
Lv 7 - Bonus karma and money from vigilante kills (+2 Karma and 250 Extra bonus, also 25 more XP per kill)
Lv 9 - Silent knife pullout

Mercenary
Lv 7 - Spawn with more ammo (75 to Rifle/SMG/357/Pistol)
Lv 9 - Heavy armor on hire (200 Armor on hire)

Security Guard
Lv 7 - Spawn with more ammo (75 to Rifle/SMG/357/Pistol)
Lv 9 - Spawn with additional health (125 Maximum health)

Hobo
Lv 7 - Slightly more money from the buyer (10% More selling profit)
Lv 9 - Increased chance of scrap (20% Increase, but still unlikely to get scrap.)

Cook
Lv 7 - Melon pets are easier to level up (Less time required to travel, be best buddies with your melons please.)
Lv 9 - Extra lab (This does not add to the player's global limit of labs, which by default is 6 without the perm. This adds one extra of a specific lab. Ex: Weed plants max would be 4, now it is 5.)

Bartender
Lv 7 - Less maintenance required on Distillery (Every cycle adds to your chance to require maintenance, this reduces the amount added to your chance.)
Lv 9 - Extra lab

Drug Dealer
Lv 7 - More money from buyer (20% Increase)
Lv 9 - Extra lab

Landman
Lv 7 - Extra oil barrel
Lv 9 - Oil selling increase (From 5% to 12%)

Doctor
Lv 7 - Decrease donation blood delay
Lv 9 - Run faster with medkit

Gangster
Lv 7 - Increased rob chance (20% Increase chance)
Lv 9 - Extra Genome

Anarchist
Lv 7 - Decreased raiding time (6 Seconds removed from lockpick/keypad cracking wait time.)
Lv 9 - Reduced rob delay time

Pro Thief
Lv 7 - Reduced rob delay time
Lv 9 - Reduced karma loss on robbing

Civil Protection
Lv 7 - More money from Police Buyer (15% Increase from selling items to barney inside of the nexus buyer.)
Lv 9 - Extra Genome

Mayor
Lv 7 - Spawn with Assault Baton
[This is a damaging stunstick and not the same as the BMI Stunstick, it is unique to only the mayor and it does not wake up or knock out players.]
Lv 9 - Police shop price reduction (30% Reduced price)

Hacker
Lv 7 - Less want chance when hacking slot machines
Lv 9 - Printer hacking skills
[Hackers can left click with their keypad cracker to hack printers from Level 0 up to Level 3, they can also upgrade the ink up to 6 maximum. There is a cooldown and autowant chance.]

Thug

Lv 7 - Ability to push
Lv 9 - Chance to shotgun down doors
[Pump shotguns have a 33% chance to knock down doors, automatic shotguns have a 25% chance. This is not per pellet, this is per click.]



What about the jobs without levels?

I wanted to expand the current classes we have and see what we can do with them before trying to tackle the classes we haven't given the same treatment to, I also wanted to open up functionality for more than just five levels at a time and include a scroll bar so that these changes can be reflected much easier.

Most likely one of us will come back and give the rest of the classes their own respective levels but not at this exact moment.

The XP Guide thread will be updated shortly after this thread is posted.

I understand that some of this may seem a little overpowered and I'm willing to make changes if people do not like certain rewards or think they break the server, but there is also bound to be bugs so be on the look out for anything that might be broken.

please explain how this stunstick is any different from the one in the police shop or a perm
other than the fact you don't have to buy it (if you don't have to buy it that is)

That's pretty much it. It's just the stun baton but with damage and a material on it to show it isn't an arrest baton.

(Can't edit default weapons except damage.)
