This is the discussion thread for Update #915

  • Radio Changes (Made them more responsive | Double-clicking a song will now play it and deleting it is in the right-click menu.)
  • Weapon shelf changes (Renamed to item shelf | Was given to multiple vendors to use. | Accepts most guns, shipments, entities, etc.)
  • Remove arrest baton speed bonus from CP (Feedback please)
  • Fixed vertical picture frame issues.
  • Fixed real life stocks not showing up/working.
  • Added dupes forum and dupes command (Post whatever dupes you want there. | Chat command is /dupes)
  • Props will now be frozen rather than no-collided when a player disconnects.

After testing the new speed boost nerfs, it's basically nullified if a cop just takes cocaine.

Cops need to have the upper hand but criminals need to at least have a chance.

Re-add the speed boost, and disallow CP from using drugs.

Imagine a drugged up cop that has 45% more attack, 30% damage resistance, max run speed, and has a baton that will 4 hit you.

Versus the criminal that literally takes every drug in existence, he is STILL at a disadvantage.

With that being said, the argument that some people have said to "just take pcp / shrooms lol" does not work, because CP can simply match whatever you are doing.

You may say well then gangster can be just as powerful as CP, but gangsters cannot 4 hit cops with a baton.

Removing drugs for CP would satisfy criminals because they could have some sort of upper hand, but keeping speed boost will satisfy baton rushers so they can keep up with criminals.

Without drugs and with the baton speed boost, CPs are still very powerful.

Let the Movie Theater Manager make an item shelf. I want to sell popcorn with ease in the lobby. AMC Theaters actually do this then you pay later but you know what im getting at. I want to sell popcorn on the shelf.

I want coke and meth to be the only drugs allowed for cp, speed boost and health boost 

They already have resistance to damage so heroin is a no go, jug rushing

Donuts - Increases defense like heroin (35%). They'll overdose if they eat too many (5) Each donut consumed adds 5 seconds. This caps out at 125%.

Coffee - Increases speed and swing rate, can overdose (5) Each coffee adds 5 seconds. Caps at 125%.

Water - Resets stats to 100% even if it's above 100%. Prevents OD when using any other item. Can only be taken once and the cooldown is 40 seconds.

Beer - Increases attack, and you can OD like normal. Each beer adds 5 seconds. Caps at 125%.

+support to making donuts useful. HOWEVER, you will need to tone down its HP boost if it gets defense boost tho.
actually, how about have donuts give the defense boost, and add pizza giving the HP boost?

change overdose threshold from 5 to 7, or maybe even 10, since these are more tame versions of drugs, and thus should probably last longer.
idk about having water do that tho, can get confusing and messy very quickly.
